Physical Therapy is specifically designed to improve functional mobility, including; balance, strength and ambulation. Resident participation with goal setting throughout their care is encouraged.
Occupational Therapy uses a holistic approach in treating the resident. Therapy may include adaptation of task or environment to achieve maximum independence and to enhance quality of life
Speech Therapy is provided to assist individuals with communication and/or swallowing disorders by restoration of prior skills and/or teaching of new techniques.
Resident Evaluation & Screening
Resident evaluation will be performed within 24 hours of receiving a physician's order in a documentation format compliant with all Medicare standards. All therapists are trained to perform an interdisciplinary screening before and after therapy utilizing a screening tool that meet or exceed the state and federal requirements.
Under Medicare’s Prospective Payment system (PPS), a provider receives a payment to cover an episode of care during a period of time. Because payment formulas are highly complex, efficient, accurate management of PPS is crucial.
This system will streamline the daily rehabilitation operation while managing data and providing outcome information. Our outcome program can be customized to meet your specific needs and expectations. This will allow the rehabilitation team to input data that is important to your community, resulting in useful and meaningful reports.

Flagship’s Corporate Compliance Officers are available for all of your support needs. Comprised of therapists and nurses with a variety of certifications that provide ongoing educational resources to the rehab department and your community.
Our Corporate Compliance Officers meet directly with your administration while onsite. A detailed compliance report is provided quarterly.
